🌙 This Week on the Dark Moon Rocks Morning Show...

This week has been one of those quietly productive weeks where things finally seem to be falling into place. The laboratory has been busy, the app is nearly ready to venture out into the wild, and after a fair amount of pruning, Dark Moon Rocks is beginning to look much more like the vision I've carried around in my head for years.

The morning shows wandered, as they often do, between moonlight and reality. We talked about change, simplifying life, and the strange feeling that sometimes the strongest move forward is actually to let a few things go. There were stories from the towpath, wildlife along the canal, and the usual collection of thoughts that seem to arrive with the first cup of tea.

Health-wise, recovery continues one careful step at a time. The tremors are behaving themselves a little more, my energy is slowly returning, and I'm learning—sometimes reluctantly—that healing isn't something you can rush. It seems the body works to its own timetable, whether the mind approves or not.

As always, thank you for keeping me company on the journey. Whether you're listening live, catching up later, or simply reading these newsletters over your morning coffee, I'm genuinely glad you're here.

The Moon is up. The kettle is on. The radio is waiting.

The laboratory has been gloriously untidy this week... with plenty of pruning, polishing and quietly building behind the scenes.

One of the biggest changes is that Solar Pulse News and Forbidden Moons are evolving into podcasts rather than 24-hour radio stations. It feels like a much better fit, allowing me to spend more time creating thoughtful episodes instead of trying to keep multiple stations alive. Sometimes the best way forward isn't adding more... it's making space for what works.

The Dark Moon Rocks Progressive Web App (PWA) is now in its final polishing stages. It can already be installed like a normal app, and I'm now working through all the little finishing touches that make the experience smoother on phones and tablets. It's amazing how much difference those last few percent make.

The website has also been through another round of ruthless simplification. Pages have been merged, unnecessary clutter has disappeared, and the whole project feels much closer to what it was always meant to be: one welcoming doorway into the Dark Moon Rocks world rather than a maze of separate projects.

Behind the scenes I'm also rebuilding the shop. Instead of trying to force everything into complicated systems, I'm aiming for something much cleaner that lets me offer graphics, books, music, hypnosis, courses and digital downloads in one place as it grows.

Perhaps the biggest shift isn't technical at all. It's a change in philosophy.

Rather than trying to create more, I'm trying to create better.

Less noise. More depth.

Fewer projects. More life inside each one.

It feels like Dark Moon Rocks is finally becoming the thing I imagined all along.

There comes a moment that nobody warns you about. Not when you are breaking. Not when everything falls apart....

That part is obvious...it is practically got its own soundtrack.

The real challenge begins much later. It begins when the crisis has ended. When the dust has settled...when everyone else assumes you’ve recovered, packed up the casseroles, and gone back to sending them memes.

Solar Pulse News is an independent podcast exploring the forces shaping our world through science, technology, economics, geopolitics, space weather, and emerging trends.

Rather than chasing headlines, each episode steps back to examine the deeper patterns behind the news. From solar activity and energy systems to artificial intelligence, financial change, global events, and the future of society, Solar Pulse News connects the dots to help listeners think more clearly about a rapidly changing world.

🌘 This Week's Moon

This week's Moon has slipped into its waning crescent, growing thinner each night as it drifts towards the New Moon on Tuesday, 14th July.

It isn't a week for rushing. The waning crescent has always been the quiet end of the lunar story — a time for finishing loose ends, letting old ideas fade, and making room for whatever wants to grow next.

If life has felt noisy lately, take a walk, sit by the water, or simply spend a few minutes watching the evening sky. Not every week asks us to build something. Sometimes the Moon reminds us that rest is part of the cycle too.

By Tuesday the sky will be dark once more, ready to begin another journey.

If You Fancy a Wander...

Every week I'm a little stronger than the last, and every week Dark Moon Rocks grows alongside me.
